NYMO - lux.teachings; Friday 17th January 2014 at St. Mary's, Dunstable from 7-9pm

are holding a ‘lux.teachings’ event at St. Mary's, Dunstable,
from 7-9pm,  on Friday 17th January 2014.

NYMO, organises these teaching evenings monthly which are aimed at youth and young adults but are hosted by different parishes across the diocese.

They use some popular elements of the lux.weekends and deliver them in a parish setting.

The format is:
        • a couple of games,
        • a talk from a priest, supper,
        • discussions and prayer.

It's a chance for youth groups to do something a little different, and if there isn't a youth group in a particular parish it hopefully gives them an idea of what they could do in an evening session.

The aim in running these evenings is to gather the young people of our pastoral area, to offer good Catholic teaching and for them to share a meal and fellowship with other young Catholics in their area.

We hope that as many young people of our parish would be able to go along to this upcoming lux.teachings evening.  The evening is free (including a fish and chip supper!) and is open to all those aged 11-25 as well as youth leaders, chaplains etc.

Stephen Harris, the diocese "Parish Liason Worker",  hopes many of the young people from our parish might come.    If you have any questions or problems, please don't hesitate to contact Stephen on steve@nymo.org or you can phone 01582 720627
